You're Makin' Me Blush!

Right around this time, two years ago, we were wrapping up work for some wonderful clients in Marin County. Their style was basically an extension of ours, and the ideas just flowed effortlessly! The sign off for these blush chairs was one of my first forays into pink, and I could not have been (and still am) more in love! They amped up this neutral palette and pulled everything together in this space.

Clearly pink, blush, dusty rose, fuchsia...whichever variety you prefer has had and continues to be having quite the moment! I swore that my daughter would not wear much pink, but honestly that closet is jam packed with it! I couldn't be happier though. When you find the right shade, this color has so much potential.

I stumbled upon this image recently while brainstorming for a new client, and was over the moon! We are working with the sweet and savvy Emily Martin of Emily Martin Events and The JeTsetting Fashionista, and I knew this shade would be right up her alley.

Typically, we will develop a concept board, layouts and a budget prior to a first meeting and ever presenting our ideas. This time, I couldn't help but call Emily and say "I want to give you a pink kitchen"...a bit terrified of her response but too excited to hold back. All she said was "I love that idea!" That was it! Now we are on our way...it may end up being a pink bathroom, but the design process ahead of us is still just as exciting. Here are a few more inspirational images that are pulling at my heart strings.

What do you think? Would you be game for some pink in your next project?
